Jennifer Diaz is the vice president of communications for the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools. In this role, she provides strategic advice and leads the organization’s media relations and outreach efforts.
Previously, Jennifer served as ExcelinEd’s vice president of communications, directing media and strategic communications in key education reform states across the nation. She also served ExcelinEd as the national director of advocacy, supporting the critical work with state leaders to develop and adopt legislation and policies that transform education to ensure all students are prepared for success in college, career, and life.
During her tenure with the State of Florida, Jennifer served as communications director for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity where she promoted the state’s economic, workforce, and community development initiatives. Her experience also includes serving as press secretary for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, marketing director for the Florida Park Service, and project director for the Florida Governor’s Office of Adoption and Child Protection.
Jennifer graduated from Florida State University with a degree in English, Creative Writing.
