Melinda Tolliver is the strategist behind the many marketing and communications efforts in service of the programs, events, publications, and campaigns at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. In her role as director of marketing, she oversees organic and paid digital campaigns, email marketing, website development and maintenance, video and content creation, social media, traditional advertising, and media planning and buying.
Melinda has dedicated her career to nonprofit marketing and communications with a focus in digital since graduating from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She found her initial passion for nonprofit work in South Texas where she worked in community outreach and marketing for an organization dedicated to assisting children and families touched by autism. After moving to the nation’s capital, Melinda worked for advocacy and membership-based organizations to further their missions and build their capacities for digital communications strategies before joining the National Alliance.
