The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools is thrilled to welcome the 2024-2025 class of Rising Leaders, the program’s third cohort. During COVID we saw a “great stall” in our nation’s education systems. Academic progress froze and even reversed for some students. Enrollment dropped, absenteeism increased, and schools lost students—just lost track of them. This drop-off and stall could equate to millions, if not billions, in lost economic activity and growth.
The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools is pleased to release the Best Practices to Accelerate Student Learning Series, a set of resources documenting pandemic-era charter school innovations to be leveraged across the charter sector and beyond. Through the Charter Schools Program (CSP) National Dissemination program, the National Alliance has been able to explore pandemic-era practices and develop a lasting set of resources and supports informed by an in-depth study of how innovative charter schools thrived through and beyond the pandemic.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Education recognizes a cohort of exemplary schools from around the country as National Blue Ribbon Schools.
