Nina Rees to be Featured on Education Next Panel Discussing 2019 Annual Public Opinion Poll Results
On Friday, September 13, Education Next will host a gathering to discuss their 13th annual survey of American public opinion on education policy in depth. This year’s poll updates trend data to reveal the public’s latest thinking on school choice, teacher pay, school spending, accountability, and more. With a four-percentage point increase, support for charter schools jumped to 48 percent this year. As Presidential candidates prepare for 2020 elections, it is critical they reflect public support for charter schools and other hot topics in education into their platforms.”
Nina Rees, president and CEO of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, will be featured as a panelist at the event. Click here to register and join us!
This event is sponsored by Education Next in conjunction with the Harvard Program on Education Policy and Governance and the Hoover Institution.
