As the coronavirus pandemic shut down school buildings and moved education online, it quickly became clear that some students are at a disadvantage in digital learningspecifically those who are without access to the technology and internet connectivity that facilitates remote learning. In our new white paper, we use census data to better understand the barriers some students face. Among the findings? More than 1 in 5 charter school students are in an area with low access to the internet.
