The Charter School Community’s Education Priorities for 2021

The Charter School Community’s Education Priorities for 2021

January 25, 2021

The start of a new presidential administration with a new secretary of education and a new Congress offers the opportunity to refresh education policy while reaffirming our nation’s core values and commitments. As we work to emerge from a pandemic that has had severe implications for students, we must also look to the future, envisioning how to create and support schools that allow every student to flourish.

This paper offers a summary of our budget priorities and policy recommendations for the new administration. The charter school community looks forward to working with everyone who shares our goal of strengthening all public schools in the United States and equipping them with resources to meet the needs of every student.
