Each year the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools provides estimates of the number of student names and individual students on charter school waiting lists. In 2013-14, there were an estimated 1,034,311 names and 586,511 individual students on charter school waiting lists. This brief “Details from the Dashboard” report shows the growth in waiting list estimates over time, the methodology used to compile the estimates, and data from a handful of states.
